Design Process
The entire design process begins with a visit to our showroom. We will discuss details of your particular project and budget.

The second step is to book a site visit to measure your existing basement. Following this measure we conduct a thorough interview to compile a complete wish list for your basement.

With this information we prepare a complete set of architectural drawings, which we present to you, complete with a list of material specifications and a guaranteed price for the proposed design.

Installation Process
Construction of your dream basement begins with framing and insulating. Our basements are framed using metal studs and are insulated from the floor to the ceiling complete with a continuous vapour barrier. Upon completion of framing, our carpenters will send to our factory a complete list of panel sizes and cabinet measurements to our in-house cabinet shop. Our cabinet makers will then begin cutting wall panels and assembling cabinets.

While our shop is constructing the basement components, at your house we are now installing electrical and plumbing rough-ins that will be required.

Cabinetry
Every Hallmark designer basement is unique since every basement is customized to each client's wishes and requirements. Our cabinet makers work hand in hand with our carpenters to ensure a superb finished product. All of our cabinetry is preassembled in our shop and inspected before delivery. This ensures all parts are and work perfect.

Final Step
Up to this point the work completed in your home has been dirt free. This trend continues as our carpenter installs the numbered panels to the steel framing. The custom cabinetry is leveled and installed followed by a suspended ceiling system. Final electrical, trims and plumbing fixtures are finished. Next and lastly, the floorings are laid.

Once we have finished, the only thing left to do is move in your furniture and enjoy the new addition to your home.
